Everything Comes Down to Love
If I am honest, love is at the heart of everything I do.
Love for nature.
For life.
For softness.
For connection.
And yes… also for someone who is deeply woven into my story.
Someone who helped bring colour to the dreams from which Árbol de la Vida was born.
The truth?
This is probably my most personal blog.
Because how do you explain that a place, a brand, an idea was actually born from love?
And that this love can still be felt in everything you create.
Even when life takes a different turn.
Even when two paths separate…
Love. It is so much more than romance
It is the thread running through everything I do.
Through every herbal blend I create.
Every wooden board I design.
Every text I write.
Every retreat I prepare.
Every training I give.
When love flows through something…
When you truly do it with your heart and soul…
Well, then the sky is the limit.
For me, love is connection.
With yourself.
With others.
With nature.
With that part of yourself that sometimes gets forgotten in the busyness of life.
Because no matter how successful you are, no matter how full your calendar is…
If you cannot share it, it feels empty.
Árbol de la Vida is not a commercial project.
It was born from a longing.
From a feeling.
After years of working hard and always pushing forward, I felt:
There has to be something softer.
Warmer.
More loving.
That love lives in the details.
In the scent of lavender inside a herbal pillow.
In the warmth of wood that lasts for years.
In tea that is not only something you taste…
but something that can bring healing.
More Than Products – A Story
When you browse through my products in the webshop, you might see herbs, oils, wooden boards…
But what you don’t see is the story woven into each of them.
Every herbal pillow, every tea, every soap carries an intention.
Not to be perfect.
But to make you feel something:
peace,
strength,
warmth.
In my previous blog, you read about my dream when I was 17.
Helping people heal. Supporting others. That pharmacy I once dreamed of.
You will find that dream again in what I create.
An oil to use before or after the marathon or running event you have been training for.
Or perhaps you want to stop smoking?
Then that oil may support you in reconnecting with what you truly feel.
With the things you may be trying to escape from.
Take the essential oil Corazón, for example.
An oil I created for myself.
It was not created by chance.
It was my way of holding on to heart energy.
Of turning something invisible into something tangible.
Because over the past years, I shared my life, my dreams, and my heart with someone who was incredibly important to me.
Together, we dreamed about our house abroad.
An olive grove.
Or a vineyard.
The scent of cookies and freshly baked bread.
Open windows.
Her in the pool.
Me in the garden, surrounded by my herbs.
Her boots by the door when you walked inside.
Árbol grew from those conversations.
The seed was planted.
And then came a separation.
A silence where there once were words.
An emptiness where there once were plans.
Blame.
Arguments.
Not understanding each other.
And two lives that never quite managed to intertwine.
Two different women, and yet sometimes so incredibly alike.
It feels strange.
Creating something you once imagined together.
While I now continue on my own.
And yet…
On a deeper level, it is not lost.
Everything we felt together lives on in what I create here.
Maybe that is the essence of love:
It does not disappear.
It changes form.
Corazón represents self-love and healing of the heart.
Opening your heart.
Even when it hurts.
Maybe it sounds poetic.
But to me, it is very real.
I feel it in my hands while I blend.
In the scent that fills the room.
In the ritual of creating.
Why Love Is the Foundation
I believe love is what moves us forward.
Not only the romantic kind of love, but love as a force.
The love to share.
To connect.
To create something beautiful that reaches beyond yourself.
Love is not only the foundation of relationships.
It is the foundation of life.
Love for who you are.
For nature.
For the present moment.
Árbol de la Vida was born from that.
From the desire to become soft again.
To reconnect.
To feel instead of constantly rushing.
You can be successful and achieve many things.
But if you cannot share them, something is missing.
Yesterday, a friend said:
“You can go on a beautiful journey. But it only becomes truly meaningful when you can share it.”
That exact feeling is at the heart of Árbol de la Vida.
Because honestly…
together is so much more beautiful than alone.
The Vulnerable Side
Love can also hurt.
Sometimes it builds you.
Sometimes it breaks you.
Sometimes you are left standing with empty hands…
and yet, with a full heart.
And sometimes…
it hurts like hell.
The longing.
The absence.
Maybe that is why Árbol exists.
To remind us that even after loss, love remains.
That you can find it again.
In small rituals.
In silence.
In nature.
You live.
You run.
You work.
Until something happens that forces you to stop.
For me, that was this separation.
Painful?
Yes.
But also an invitation.
To return to myself.
And perhaps that is what I want to offer you too.
The opportunity to slow down.
To feel love again.
For yourself.
For life.
How Do You Feel Love in Your Life?
Maybe you recognise it.
That longing for connection.
For meaning.
For moments to pause.
Árbol de la Vida is my answer to that longing.
For myself.
And perhaps, also for you.
It lives in the retreats I will organise.
Where we slow down, breathe, walk…
and so much more.
It lives in the products I create:
herbs,
oils,
wood.
Everything pure.
Everything created with intention.
What I Hope for You
That Árbol de la Vida becomes a place where you can feel that too.
Not only during a retreat, but in every moment you hold one of the products in your hands.
That it helps you come home to yourself.
Because ultimately…
all love begins there.
