There came a point when everything came to a standstill.

Last July, something broke.
A relationship that had been intense
came to an end.

And suddenly, there was silence.

After everything that had happened,
what remained most was emptiness.

But also… space.

That summer, someone asked me:

“What makes your heart beat faster?”

And that question stayed with me.

Very quietly, I started to reconnect with myself.

Not in a big way.
Not by suddenly changing everything.

But through small things.

I started a herbalist course.

Something that had been drawing me in since I was a child.

Herbs.
Oils.
Wood.
Writing.

Things that had always been part of me,
but that I had somehow lost along the way.

At the same time, there was also Árbol.

The house in Calpe,
which had just been completely renovated.

A process that was anything but peaceful.
Building from a distance,
while everything else in my life was unfolding.

Right after renovating my own house in Brecht.

Always busy.
Always working.
Never truly resting.
